As many of you know, the rally on Saturday night, Feb. 21 was a resounding success. Over 250 of you, many from our facebook group, was there to support our cause. Dean Butler created an excellent video that everyone should view.

Dean’s videos have gotten both the tone and spirit of our message out better than anyone else could.

Daniel Quinn, one of our fearless leaders along with Nancy Biederman and Andy Suser, sent the following thank-you to all that joined in:

To “All the Saving the Lives of Our Own” Supporters!

Be proud to know you delivered a strong message Saturday night at our awareness event outside the Motion Picture & Television Fund benefit at The Beverly Hills Hotel. All of you who held signs and voiced your support, sent emails to friends, posted blogs, or joined in spirit to honor our Residents –

THANK YOU!

Our words did not fall upon deaf ears, and our Residents’ photos on signs put a human face on the issue. Have you seen the articles in Variety and thewrap.com, or the television coverage? Our grassroots efforts are continuing to make a significant impact, and it’s because of each and every one of you and your amazing commitment.

A special thank you to our extraordinary caregivers who day after day “take care of our own,” and who continue to support the families as we endeavor to:

• Keep the MPTF long-term care facility open
• Insure the future of MPTF long-term care
• Restore MPTF’s commitment to its historic mission
– “Taking Care of Our Own.”

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
-Margaret Mead (1901-1978)
